Vaughan is also called as ''The city above Toronto''. The city population is approximately 297,000 which is still growing. Maple, Kleinburg, Woodbridge and Thornhill are considered as the 4 main highly populated centers in Vaughan. Visitors and tourists from Toronto and Great Toronto Area usually move to Vaughan to spend quality time in Canada Wonderland, for shopping at Vaughan Mills or to see the attractive McMichael Canadian Art Collection at Kleinburg. Vaughan has a long historical background which dates back to 1792 but the city appeared on map after its massive expansion in 1991.

Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is a master planned community which consists of 100 acre land bound by Jane St. to the east, Portage Pkwy. on the north, Hwy. 400 on western side, and Hwy. 7 to the south. It is one of the largest mixed commercial projects of Canada which is going to offer urban live style featuring with high standard townhouses, condos and homes in combination with hotel, entertainment venues and quick access to public transport.

In Vaughan the winter is freezing, windy and dry while the summers are hot. Normally, temperature varies from 14°F to 80°F over the year but it is rarely above 88°F or below 3°F. Mostly tourists get attracted to this city from June to September for warm weather activities.
